Yesterday, Reprolab went down to the Singapore-ETH Centre (SEC) to support NP and our collaborators during the joint BSF seminar hosted by SEC. Together with Professor Stephen Cairns, Adrian Fuhrmann (who is also our PhD student), Dr. Moritz Gold and Niraly Mangal, they introduced the audiences to the scope and themes covered in this collaboration. The turnout was great!
They also shared how Black Soldier Flies can be used in food waste management and sustainable food production in urban systems, to support Singapore's 30-by-30 aspiration (i.e., meeting 30% of nutritional requirements domestically by 2030). Here are some snapshots of the event:

A new semester has begun! If you're lucky, you might catch Dr. P in action at the following NUS modules: LSM2107 Evolutionary biology and LSM4259 Evolutionary genetics of reproduction.
Our graduate students Tyrone and Qihui will also be assisting her at LSM2107 Evolutionary biology. See you there, students!
