We celebrated the successful conclusion of our project, “Using Black Soldier Flies in Food Waste Management and Sustainable Food Production in Urban Systems,” with the most important invention - artisanal pizzas.
Our wonderful collaborators joined for good food, good science talk, and the kind of laughter you only get after months of experiments, troubleshooting, and data chaos.
And of course—the star of the evening was the legendary deep-dish pizza, winning everyone’s hearts (and stomachs).

Once a Reprolab member, always part of the lab family 🧬✨ Our alumni never really leave — they just bring back more stories (and data!) to our gatherings.
We took a leisurely lab walk through the Botanic Gardens, spotting scenic lights and the occasional curious bugs 🐞. The perfect mix of nature, science, and laughter!
For a team that spends most days studying insects, it was nice to meet a few of our “subjects” in the wild!
We wrapped up the evening with a cozy dinner, good food, and even better conversations with old friends who joined. Always great to unwind, laugh, and appreciate the people behind the science.
